Stan Chappel started the Hot Rod Shop 22 years ago and it has been at its current location at 4425 Charles Street Rockford, Illinois for the last 20 years. Stan’s passion for cars started right out of high school, and he started working at custom auto parts stores. Stan decided to specialize in helping customers purchase Custom and Hot Rod parts, so he opened The Hot Rod Shop.

Mike and Amber Breiner bought The Hot Rod Shop from Stan on October 13th of 2020, and have been building on the strong foundation Stan built for his customers. With their passion, they will continue what Stan started. We provide many services besides just parts sales, and we intend to help our customers for many years to come…just call us and ask.
