John’s Appliance Repair

Hi! I’m John! That’s me over to the right with my gorgeous wife Jamie and my pugnacious pug, Mr. T.

I was born in Plano and have lived here most of my life. I graduated from Plano Senior High and attended college at Stephen F. Austin. During my tenure at SFA, I decided to enroll in the police academy. After graduating from the police academy as Cadet Class President, I returned to Plano to seek a job in law enforcement. Little did I know that my path was going to take me somewhere far different.

I had grown up watching my father fix anything and everything around the house, so I decided to take a temporary job doing appliance repair while I sought a full time job at one of the local police departments. Turns out I liked it so much I decided to make it permanent. I didn’t always aspire to fix appliances and be better looking then the Maytag Man, but here I am.

John’s Appliance Repair has been in business for seven years now and is still going strong. It is owned and operated by me, my wife (she’s much better looking than the Maytag Man) and Mr. T who is head of security (“I pity the fool who be messin wit da bidness!”).

I enjoy doing this work because it allows me to deliver immediate satisfaction to my customers and I am a lot less likely to be shot on the job (and let’s give a big shout out to all the men and women who do put their life on the line to keep our streets and country safe every day)!
